{"id":1131,"date":"2010-11-15T23:10:45","date_gmt":"2010-11-16T04:10:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.seakingdom.net\/blog\/?p=1131"},"modified":"2010-11-15T23:10:45","modified_gmt":"2010-11-16T04:10:45","slug":"pumpkin-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.seakingdom.net\/blog\/2010\/11\/15\/pumpkin-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Pumpkin Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not long after I started this blog, in the Autumn of 2005, I posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seakingdom.net\/blog\/2005\/11\/12\/pumpkin-pizza\/\" target=\"_blank\">recipe for pumpkin pizza<\/a>.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve recently made another (delicious) variant on that recipe.<\/p>\n<p>The crust is the same, as is the amount of gouda cheese.\u00a0 This version uses more pumpkin or squash, covering most of the cheese surface.\u00a0 Besides the gourd, the other topping is sauteed leeks, which are placed between the cheese and crust (i.e. the leeks go on the crust after it&#8217;s spread, followed by the cheese and then squash).\u00a0 It&#8217;s a wonderful meld of flavors, and needs nothing else.\u00a0 I made this variation for the first time a couple of weeks ago, using pie pumpkins, and made some more such pizzas tonight, this time with acorn squash.\u00a0 Yum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not long after I started this blog, in the Autumn of 2005, I posted a recipe for pumpkin pizza.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve recently made another (delicious) variant on that recipe.
