Poland’s great contribution to world cinema

What? You think it’s Roman Polanski, or Krzysztof Kieslowski, or perhaps Agnieszka Holland?

No, no, it’s movie posters.

Some of these are really wild and inventive. Some are just hilarious for their apparent misrepresentation of a movie’s genre.

Thanks to Kevin H. for pointing me to the site.

  1. If you have not seen it yet, find the movie Avalon. It’s a Japanese movie.

    Filmed in Poland.

    Using Polish actors.

    In Polish.

  2. Not to be confused with the Barry Levinson film of the same title, which was done with US actors, in English. 🙂

I had not heard of this movie, but just checked it out on IMDB. It looks intriguing, especially the fact that it’s a live-action film by a popular anime director.
